With its suggestion of rye, caramel and roasted sugar, it is perfect for your recipes; use it in simmered dishes, pastries or to spice up your salad dressings. In Canada, maple syrup is available in five different categories. The main grading criterion is the color, expressed in terms of degree of light transmission. The later the harvest, the darker the syrup; it also becomes less complex, and has a more pronounced caramel flavor.

Maple syrup is pretty much a religion in my family. I use it in and on everything, making sauces, dressings, adding it to baking, to icings, on ice cream. And, the darker the better. And thank you very much for offering free shipping. That's immensely appreciated.
I have used this item several times before the flavour is the best out there, so rich and delicious. I have used it in pastry recipes, rice pudding and in my fruit salads or pancakes or even jams. I use it in anything needing sugar substitute!
